Comment:

 This is a conflict between Gutenberg 16.7 & Blocks Everywhere, the plugin
 used for the forum editor.

 It looks like the error described is probably the same as
 [https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/54080#issuecomment-1733208834
 this one], which has a fix, but is not set to be released until Gutenberg
 16.8.

 For now, I've pinned the Gutenberg version to 16.6.0 on WordPress.org, and
 once the fix is rolled out it can be unpinned.
