 I agree it would be great for folks to know the reason why they have been
 flagged.

 Sometimes people come into forums without reading the guidelines, in these
 cases, they will write or do something that is against the guidelines
 without even realizing it.

 It's fair to let people know what they have done wrong to give them a
 chance to do better in the future.
