 I'm unsure, but it's likely that editing is reserved for users with higher
 levels of access.
 For good reason, we don't allow editing of comments in many locations, as
 while ''you'' may respectfully do so, when we allow anyone with a
 WordPress.org account to edit comments without visible history, it's
 possible for someone to change the entire meaning of a conversation when
 edited.
