 in [12336], initial support for declaring a plugin as offering commercial
 upgrades or support was added to the sidebar when viewing a plugins
 landing page.

 Introducing a similar message near the "new topic" form within the support
 area for a plugin, when applicable, would also be beneficial. This would
 also surface it without needing to go via the plugin landing page. I don't
 have numbers, but I suspect more folks land directly on the forums than on
 the plugin landing page when using a search engine to find help?

 This would point users towards paid support in cases where they are a
 paying customer, and also nudge other users towards suport plans or
 similar that the author provides.
