 I'm unsure of what is being asked here - There's nothing custom currently
 for GitHub / RSS, the page just uses the default RSS block.

 Adding the plugin proposed is possible, but it's probably not ideal in
 it's current form, as it attempts to match the existing block HTML.

 Unfortunately the WordPress RSS fetching code appears to have limited
 filters, making it difficult, but I wonder if it'd be possible to simply
 hook in somehow and treat the github url as an RSS feed..
