Comment:

 Thanks for the report! In the time since this ticket was created, the
 WordPress Showcase was revamped with a completely new theme implemented
 [https://make.wordpress.org/meta/2022/12/14/showcase-visual-refresh/ and
 released].

 The code is available at https://github.com/WordPress/wporg-showcase-2022,
 where development, feature requests, and bug reports are being handled.

 As part of the site's relaunch, all listed sites were reassessed. As a
 result, there are no longer any bad/invalid/dead sites listed. I believe
 the plan is for the Marketing team to be responsible for maintaining the
 site content going forward.
