 I can confirm this is caused by the global header, and lack of CORS
 headers on the fonts loaded from there.

 https://github.com/WordPress/wporg-mu-plugins/pull/173 is the most likely
 fix for this, serving those static fonts from the CDN instead of from the
 WordPress.org domains.
