 @dd32 that makes a lot of sense.  So how about the description instead?
 Looking at the get_post_meta() doc page it currently holds,

 <meta property="og:description" content="Retrieves a post meta field for
 the given post ID.">
 }}}

 and could easily accommodate the full function reference.
