Comment:

 Agreed. The global header has been revamped somewhat recently and no
 longer resembles the design that was reported here. I don't feel the
 reported issue applies to the new design.

 If there ''are'' any issues with the new design, they should be filed in
 the [https://github.com/WordPress/wporg-mu-plugins wporg-mu-plugins GitHub
 repository], which includes the [https://github.com/WordPress/wporg-mu-
