 @mamaduka was approved for core commit and it was announced at the 2022
 State of the Word -

 confirmed the lack of follow up is an oversite, so let's fix that.

 Steps already done:
 - Add to the WordPress Core Team on GitHub.

 Remaining steps:
 - Confirmed that the steps in the top section were completed.
 - Added to the Committer group on Core Trac.
 - Updated wpTracContributorLabels.
 - Grant SVN access.
 - Update the capes.php file.
 - Add to the Core Committers user group in WordPress Slack.
