 There is no doubt this feature has been valuable for many plugin
 developers, and numerous people have given excellent reasons to bring it
 back until a better solution can be determined.

 If that is not done, then one drastic downside is plugin developers create
 their own reporting engine within each plugin, causing unnecessary
 functionality to exist on a users site, because this metric is no doubt
 valuable. While I 💯 do not agree with this approach, I definitely see
 this as something many others would consider, and that's not good for the
 users.

 This must be reverted.
