 Blocking all files starting with `.` would remove some build scripts.
 Would this be in conflict with the
 [https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-org/detailed-plugin-
 guidelines/#4-code-must-be-mostly-human-readable plugin guidelines]:
