 * status:  new => closed
 * resolution:   => invalid


Comment:

 As indicated, the image type is checked in a few places other than just
 for the file extension. If it reports that the image is not a supported
 image file, then the file does not look like a JPEG file. Without a copy
 of the original photo in question, as was requested, we can't provide any
 further insight into this particular case.
