 The entire signup flow needs some work :)

 The existing fields that are asked for are not exactly important, and are
 mostly just to distract people while they wait for the signup confirmation
 email to turn up.

 The visual design of the pages needs updating, including making the forms
 wider, to match the design of WordPress.org/news - See
 https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress.org/pull/53 for a start on that
 before learning the visual design wasn't finalised.
