 I'm also at WCEU Contributor Day; I agree with @robfelty's approach to
 convert this to a widget that can be edited without a code change going
 forward.

 @robfelty, one question for you: do you plan to submit a second diff to
 remove else condition from `wordpress.org/public_html/wp-
 content/themes/pub/wporg-developer/page-home-landing.php` once the widget
 has been created and placed into the correct location?
