 Unfortunately, most of the profiles code is not open-sourced, for various
 reasons that aren't really important.

 But as Otto said, this isn't a code problem, this is an anti-spam problem.
 Evidently the TLD (Or, more likely, individual sites) are setting off
 alarm-bells in Akismet, likely due to a higher-level of abuse / spam from
 the TLD (which might also explain why its' more popular...)

 Post the URL you'd like to update your profile with and a profiles admin
 can make it happen and train the anti-spam system in the process, but
 other than that, there's no changes that we can make via this ticket.
