 For sure, but I think noting only when the Plugin Author has left a reply,
 vs anyone has replied, means adding this information isn't likely to cause
 negative effects from other users jumping in.

 Another potential solution would be to show a snapshot (or full details)
 of an author's reply on the overview page. Then users wouldn't even get to
 a comment form.
