 Ah I apologise for the confusion - The credits page within WordPress, and
 the announcement blog posts, all pull contributor data from a
 WordPress.org API - So we can add/remove people as needed without updating
 WordPress versions, or the announcement posts.

 I only see 'techboyg5' as a contributor to WordPress 5.6 though, not
 5.7/5.8, if you can let me know the exact name & where you're seeing it,
 that would be helpful.
