 I encountered this issue as well. My username is `@gregsullivan`, and the
 name field had been autofilled as `gregsullivan`. When I tried to save
 without changes, or simply to add my location and website address, I
 received the error message. However, changing the name field to "Greg
 Sullivan" solved the problem, as did entering content in the "About Me"
 section. (The latter working without needing to do the former.)

 In my case, I think my username, name, and github account all being set to
 `gregsullivan` combined with my email address being
 `greg at gregsullivan.com` alongside very little other content being present
 overloaded some kind of duplicate keyword check that Akismet is doing. I
 didn't need to contact anyone, only to reduce the repetition of my
 username as a percentage of my profile content.
