 Recently, I was showing in class how you can get support for general
 issues and such on the WP support forums. (My students are using their own
 WP website to show their final projects and to start building a portfolio
 website)

 But, I noticed that not even student goes to the Dutch version and so,
 ends up on the English support forum instead of the Dutch/Flemish one.

 So, my suggestion is that on pages like:
 https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ (or the localised ones), that there
 is a dropdown of some sorts to go to another region/language.
