 I ran into a downside of the noindexing yesterday, just including here for
 some context

 A WordPress user was searching for something along the lines of "plugin-
 slug error-message-here".
 The results
  - Did not include the plugin, as it's noindexed now.
  - Did not include the support forum thread
  - Included:
    - Several non-WordPress.org "nulled plugin" sites offering the plugin
 for download
    - Offered a WordPress.org-proxy site, which presents WordPress.org
 content under it's own domain (but with noindexing stripped, login
 functionalities disabled, etc)
