 As a follow-on, I notice (though I hadn't looked at this menu until now)
 that in the Advanced View for the Plugin
 (https://wordpress.org/plugins/footnotes/advanced/), the ‘Previous
 Version’ selector lists the version in `trunk/` as the ‘Development
 Version’, which as I just found out is not necessarily the case depending
 on what you put in `trunk/readme.txt`.
