 The coding standards documentation at
 https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/best-practices/coding-
 standards/php/  has a message saying that the content in that page is
 deprecated.

 The message points to

 https://developer.wordpress.org/coding-standards/wordpress-coding-
 standards/php/

 In that page, the examples with opening <?php tags break and do not show
 the PHP code, which I think is the most important block of the
 documentation. That's why I flagged priority as high.
