 Hi,

I have recently noticed that a plugin with about ~200 reviews, ~4.7 stars,
80k+ installations, ~200 support threads, 120 resolved support threads,
same keyword in the slug and title, same keyword in the content is a way
ahead of other plugin with ~1500 reviews, ~4.9 stars, 200k+ installations,
~25 support threads, ~25 resolved support threads, same keyword in the
slug and title, same keyword in the content.

I have checked the source code of the ranking algorithm and it seems that
the score is based on support_threads_resolved and that
support_resolution_percentage is not being taken into account (please
 correct me if I'm wrong).

My idea is to use the resolution percentage instead. Buggy plugins can
have a lot more support threads than plugins with less bugs. Also, we
offer live chat support which reduces the number of support threads on the
public forums and we get punished for that. :(

There is an idea by @Carike that:
''Percentage threads replied to may be a better indicator than the
percentage of threads that are resolved.''

 Thanks!
