 been moved here] since the reorganization, the redirect is slightly
 different from what you proposed. The sample PTE request is in the

 /pte-request/ on its own page].

 In the context of the "Become an Editor" link, what do you think of:
 1. Adding a "callout" at the top of the

 Plugin/Theme Author Guide] that links to the
 [https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/plugin-theme-authors-guide
 /pte-request/ PTE Request page]?
 2. Filing an enhancement/ticket to update the "Become an Editor" link
 itself?
