 TL;DR:

 The showcase section as it is is bad - with sites in it that have shut
 down, or are just terrible examples of WordPress sites.

 Can we get the bad ones removed? Or at least the duplicates?

 Can we find out why the process or adding and moderating/removing sites
 has ground to a halt? (4 added in 2019, none in 2020)
