 Hello,

 In a chat with @sergey on Slack DM it was flagged that "It might be good
 idea to create a Meta ticket to give the badge to everyone who's been in
 the core-developers list since at least WordPress 5.0, and also to make it
 a regular process and part of the pre-release checklist."

 Hence this ticket.

 "For now, I've added an item under 'The Credits API should be updated':"
