 optimal.

 7.2 was released **almost two years ago**.

 Is it an improvement over 7.0? Yes.

 Is it an adequate PHP version to **make a hard ceiling** for repository
 plugins? No.

 Is the "whatever server happens to have" adequate ''policy'' to manage
 what is allowed in the repo? No.
