 Added three ideas:

 1. Put a "thanks" button in the header of every comment.
 2. Put a "thanks" button in a new bar below every comment.
 3. Use emoji reactions instead. Like GitHub, the emoji button could be in
 the comment header, while the emoji show up in a bar below the comment.

 The first two, with visible avatars of people who have "thanked" a
 comment, are inspired by Jetpack Likes. The header version runs into some
 horizontal space issues, especially for users with gardening privileges.
 We could solve by removing the avatars, and instead doing a "thanks" count
 that you could hover or select to get more details.

 Both 2 and 3 also cause the page to get taller, by adding another ~40px to
 each comment.

 If we like a specific direction, I can flesh out these ideas more and
 explore all interactions. I'm personally a fan of emoji :)
