 I received an email today.  The apostrophe was being displayed in Gmail as
 '.

 The text looks fine when I look at the

 Looks like a change would be necessary in the
 [https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/browser/sites/trunk/wordcamp.org/public_html
 /wp-content/plugins/wordcamp-payments/includes/payment-request.php#L647
 notify_requester_request_incomplete()] function.
