 The "simple" solution for that is using something like "Link my Github
 account" instead of a plain-text field, we'd then do an OAuth flow to
 [https://developer.github.com/apps/building-oauth-apps/understanding-
 scopes-for-oauth-apps/ allow access] for either `user:email` or `[no
 scope]` (allows access to public data only). That would then be able to
 provide an authenticated `dd32 on WordPress is Github:dd32` scenario which
 can then populate that profile field.
