 I updated my plugin's featured image by following the guidelines.

 The image set as required is banner-772x250.png while the image dimensions
 output on the page is 940x304. You can clearly see the difference and the
 end result is pixelated.

 This is not new, but I am wondering why there is no update to the
 requirements?

 TLDR: 772w is currently required, 940w is outputted resulting in pixelated
 images
