 That's not helpful. I'm not proposing we solve all problems, please focus
 on this one. My proposal directly and effectively solves this problem.

 I'm still waiting to hear how this is harmful to SEO and to who's SEO.

 I get that you do not like what I am proposing and that is fine and valid.
 But I am trying to address a tangible and real problem directly. This is
 directly related to dealing with forum spam and that is how I became aware
 of this years ago.

 The spam problem on profiles.wordpress.org is not and had never been an
 edge case. It is the majority of profiles and I want to stop that while
 letting users see real people's information in an appropriate way.
