 search engines.

FWIW The reason it's blocked is down to technical limitations - accessing
deep paginated results can often cause severe database load and timeouts,
as it's highly unlikely to be cached and the queries simply take a long
 time to complete.

It's not ideal, but Bots/crawlers have been blocked from deep paginated
results for years, we've just recently updated the UI to reflect that for
logged out users. It hasn't decreased the amount of threads that can be
found for Search Engines, as they've always been limited.

If the deep paginated pages increase in performance, we can get systems to
relax the bot limitations, all of the SEO fixes that have been made have
been helping towards that goal as crawlers will be better behaved and
 finding less URLs to attack.
