Comment:

 The "By xyz" author byline is pulled from the plugins plugin file
 directly, for example see [https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser
 /hello-dolly/trunk/hello.php?marks=10 Line 10 of the Hello Dolly] plugin.
