 I'd love to see this implemented as well. I'm used to watching videos at
 1.5x speed, which is possible for talks uploaded to YouTube, but not for
 any other talks on WordPress.tv. Sometimes I download the file to play it
 locally with the speed I want, but that's not really a convenient way :)

 /youtube-proposal/ have all talks on YouTube eventually], thought I'm not
 sure what's the progress on that.

 That said, I wonder if Meta Trac is the right venue for suggesting
 enhancements to VideoPress player. Previously, I was told to use
 WordPress.com support forums for that. I reported an issue with
