Comment:

 I think the frontend management page kind of already exists, actually,
 it's just that it's currently only available to super admins.

 I can't think of any security/privacy issues, as long as the frontend
 management page is only available to group admins. @coffee2code or @jjj
 may have more insight on this, though.
