 Recently Evan Herman and I were at a contributors day answering support
 questions on the forum and we were talking about how annoying some
 questions were because they are unclear and force the responder to guess
 what the question was in addition to answering it.  We came up with a very
 simple solution:

 There should be a template (I've seen this in other support tickets but
 not other forums):

 [Question in one or two sentences]
 [Other relevant details]
 [link to site]
 [What you tried]
 [What result you want]

 This template would just be default text that shows in the question box so
 that the user can choose to stick to the template or not.  This would
 allow questions on the forums to be asked and answered a lot more
 efficiently.
