 Certainly showing positive reviews would be better than negative, though
 number of stars doesn't necessarily mean the text content of the review is
 positive.

 Amazon and others have a "was this helpful for you?" rating system for the
 ratings/reviews, which lets them show the helpful positive (and negative)
 reviews.  Without a similar system on wp.org, I feel they should not be
 shown on the main plugin page but be kept to showing the average, along
 with a link to the full listing of reviews where people can see the review
 along with the whole thread of any replies.
