Thanks for the feedback!
[attachment:2574.one-template.patch] implements comment:10. Seems to work
for [attachment:2574.one-column-centered.png simple one-column content],
but a [attachment:2574.two-columns-centered.png more complex page] gets
shifted to the right, because narrow layout doesn't really allow for any
kind of in-page navigation, and it looks a bit weird when that navigation
starts in the middle of the screen.
I'd still like to have some flexibility here:
* Not every support page can be trimmed down to a single column without a
navigation.
* Some pages make more sense as a part of the forums layout and navigation
rather than standalone content.
* Some content doesn't fit well in a narrow column.
It would probably help if we could create custom menus on forum pages, but
there's no such option at the moment.
For now, could we have three page templates to address the most popular
use cases? They'll have the same font size and style, just different
layout:
1. Default `page.php` template for simple one-column content:
2. A template with a forums sidebar for forum-related pages:
3. A full-width template for wider content with navigation, e.g.
handbooks: [attachment:2574.two-columns-full-width.png].
[attachment:2574.multiple-templates.patch] implements that. Any
objections?
