 Personally, I think that asking the author to share the solution would be
 better long-term than leaving the topic as is.

 There are usually no more then 5 to 10 resolved topics in the No Replies
 section at once. I agree with you, it would be a better solution if we get
 the authors to share their solution before they resolve a thread with no
 replies.
