Comment:

 This should be as simple as making an embed.php file in this theme:
 https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/browser/sites/trunk/wordpress.org/public_html
 /wp-content/themes/pub/wporg-plugins

 Starting with the base card view that WordPress has and perhaps adding the
 icon would be a good place to start.
