 The main reason flexible aspect ratios are beneficial is that they allow
 screenshots to focus on specific, relevant parts of a plugin. Many things
 don't fit nicely into arbitrary aspect ratios, and may be much bigger or
 smaller than other screenshots, where arbitrary requirements would lead to
 added whitespace. An example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/featured-
 audio/screenshots/.

 I like the idea of the slider approach, and trying something other than
 the vertical list, but this particular approach might be more appropriate
 for theme screenshots.
