 I think Mel summed things up quite well. I do think the current
 implementation is actually closer in structure to .com than before, like
 I've told you. It took me a while to understand what was even the purpose
 of this redesign, and from what I understood, what prompted it was the
 upcoming OAuth stuff.

 So I decided to take in all the information we discussed and make a mockup
 that sits in between all of this, and would feel maybe like less of a
 drastic departure from before. Check it out and let me know what you
 think:
