Comment:

 Info on fixing this now exists [https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins
 /wordpress-org/plugin-assets/#issues here], though it's still up to the
 plugin author to handle.

 There's really not much we can do here without a pre-commit hook, which
 doesn't seem worth it for the few times it comes up.
