 This looks pretty good to me at first glance, thanks!

 I think the only thing I'd suggest improving would be to modularize
 `import_menus()`, since right now it's doing 2-3 different things. At the
 very least, there should be a separate function for creating the new menus

 There's a backlog of contributions right now, so it might be awhile before
 I have time to do a full review, but I've added this to my list.
