 Hi, Just checking if there is any news about this redirection ?

 As the Italian community indicated, there are some great tools around
 (like https://github.com/octalmage/WordPress.org-Also-Viewing) that really
 help moderators/administrators in dealing with the forum threads. But with
 the redirection not set some of those tools do not work (correctly).
