 That sounds fine, but still doesn't help debug the issue, the creation
 script you mention [https://wordpress.slack.com/archives/meta-
 i18n/p1470758444000072 here], does that have anything else in it that
 might cause the options to be wiped after activation? Can that script and
 any others used be made available to the bbPress team or open sourced?
