#1418: Confusing button label and position when editing comment in support forums

 I was just editing [https://wordpress.org/support/topic
 /wp_load_alloptions-killing-website?replies=3#post-7701705 this existing
support forum comment]. While the process worked OK, the button to save
the changes was labelled "Edit Post »". That caused me some confusion as I
was already editing the post. :-)

The location of the button along with the small arrows (">>") in that text
made me think at first that the forum system was perhaps buggy and that
when I pressed that button it would bring up a new editor for the comment
(and maybe lose my changes). I had to make a guess that pressing that
button would actually save the changes I had made.

What would have made more sense to me would have been a button saying
"save changes to comment" or something like that (maybe just "save
 changes").

That "Edit Post" button is also (arguably) not in a great location. It is
harder to find than, say, a button below the edit area and in line with
the left side of the edit area (as with Trac). Combined with the confusing
wording and the arrows, that location added to my confusion. In left-to-
right page layout for English text, the lower right of a page is a
location I expect to be associated more with "next page" functionality.
So, that location might sort-of make sense as a place for a button
intended to move from viewing to editing.
