 Well, maybe.

 Also, the "no activity today" message would probably like some styling.
 :-)

 Finally, I'm pondering making the message window a bit more Slack-like.
 Pin the name/search box to the top, auto-scroll to the most recent
 message, and ajax load messages as the user scrolls back.
